Bid4Assets: Tax Deed Auctions, County Online Auctions and Sheriff Sales Online (2026)

Bid4Assets is the marketplace many counties use to run tax deed auctions, tax-lien certificate sales and sheriff sales online. It is a third-party platform, not a federal seller, which is why Bid4Assets rows are outside the free federal and GSE monitor. DLRadar reads Bid4Assets anyway: the rows are on the live board and in the working file, with dates, parcel ids and results.

  • Bid4Assets rows read in the last 90 days: 6,920, with 84 dated sales still ahead (in the working file and on the live board, as of October 20, 2026).
  • The free federal and GSE wire holds 2,571 rows over the same window.

What Bid4Assets runs

County tax deed auctions, where unpaid property tax ends in a deed sale; tax-lien certificate sales in states that sell liens; sheriff and judicial foreclosure sales moved online; and some government surplus. Florida counties are the largest users.

Why it is not on the free wire

The free monitor is federal sellers plus the GSE. Marketplace and county sales carry different law, redemption and lien rules, and the owner decided they belong with the paid feed and the live board rather than blended into the federal board.

Bidding on Bid4Assets

Register, post a deposit per auction, bid online against a minimum, pay by the deadline. Tax deeds in many states wipe junior liens but not federal ones; sheriff sales follow the state's redemption statute.

Bid4Assets: questions

Where are Bid4Assets sales on DLRadar?

On the live board and in the working file, with dates, parcel ids and results, not on the free federal monitor.

Is a tax deed sale the same as a foreclosure auction?

No. A tax deed sale enforces property tax; a foreclosure auction enforces a mortgage. Lien survival and redemption differ.

How many Bid4Assets rows carry a published figure?

For Bid4Assets, 1,655 of 2,571 rows show a figure, and 916 Bid4Assets rows show a dash.
