DLRadar Debuts Live Real Estate Market Stress Index Ranking 33,000+ ZIP Codes and 3,200+ Counties

DLRadar today introduced DLEconomicPulse, a live Real Estate Market Stress Index that ranks 33,775 U.S. ZIP codes, 3,221 counties and 52 state-level jurisdictions by real estate opportunity and distress.
The index keeps two questions apart. The Investment Quality Score (0–100) is for capital deployment. It weights liquidity, demand strength, demographic strength, discount composite, investment velocity and buyer strength, then subtracts penalties for macro risk and dead markets. The Distress Opportunity Map is context only, for sourcing acquisition leads. A ZIP with only vacancy signals is labeled a vacancy warning, not confirmed distress.
The board also shows unemployment, days on market, bank condition, 90-day auction counts and 7-day change, plus a Bank Liquidity Pulse and 25 years of Fed Funds, 10-year Treasury and 30-year mortgage rates. It draws on FHFA, CFPB, BLS, Census, FDIC, NFIP/FEMA and listing feeds. Snapshots run hourly and rankings rebuild daily.
Published limits
DLRadar states its limits openly: CFPB mortgage data arrives about ten months in arrears, the live series began May 29, 2026, and outputs are model results for research, not advice.
